Jen works at the Open University making digital learning experiences, and also helps run Neotists, a community arts initiative in St Neots, UK. With $500, she will build and install a small public “Trinket Swap Box” in an accessible local space, inviting people to take something and leave something in return. The box will be weatherproof and stocked initially with handmade objects, poems, drawings, zines and small curiosities to spark participation. Designed as a simple but meaningful exchange, the project creates a physical space for generosity, creativity and connection between strangers. Jen’s idea encourages small acts of kindness to circulate within the community, offering moments of surprise, inspiration and human connection in everyday life.
