Drop Dead generous is a Global experiment in generosity.

Tom co-founded Drop Dead Generous after roles as Global Creative Strategist at Meta and Managing Director of TED’s Infectious Generosity initiative. Also known as The Free Help Guy, helping people for free with everything from naming babies to finding bone marrow donors. In 2012, he also became the youngest person in the UK to donate a kidney to a stranger.

Tom takes the lead on guiding the project's vision and strategy.

Before co-founding Drop Dead Generous, John built Suspended Coffees into a global movement of 500,000 people across 30+ countries — a story covered by NPR, BBC, and The Huffington Post, and recognised by Facebook who made a documentary about his work. His TEDx talk has been seen over 100,000 times.

John takes the lead supporting our grantee community, acting in service of them, their DDG ideas and their experience giving.

Kendall is a powerhouse of a doer based in the US. A published children's book author, her latest book, 'Cloudy Day Chronicles', came from her personal experience navigating the balance between motherhood and mental health. "When I couldn’t find a story that truly resonated, I decided to create one", she often says. As we explained, a true doer.

Kendall become a DDG grantee in 2025, distributing breakfasts to local libraries and inspiring others to do the same. With Michelle, she now helps foster a culture of giving within the wider community of grantees.

Born with the soul of a creative but discouraged from pursuing the arts as a career, Michelle fed her passion by working in the music industry, alongside career roles in events and marketing. At 51, becoming fully aware of her energy healing gifts and true purpose - here to make a positive difference in the world in the ways that she can - following the signs & synchronicities, she took a leap of faith across an ocean to bring her dream to life: to found The Space Between CIC, a resource of mental health and holistic well-being support for artists and creatives.

She became a DDG grantee helping a London busker record a professional demo and now leads with Kendall the culivating of this ever-growing community.
