After cartel disruption recently shut down the city for a day - destroying cars and damaging local businesses - Nolan saw firsthand how shaken his community felt. While thankfully no civilians were physically harmed, the disruption had a real impact on people’s livelihoods and sense of safety.

With $500, Nolan wants to spread small moments of unexpected kindness across the city. His plan is simple: wherever he goes, he’ll surprise people by covering the cost of what they’re buying. That could mean paying for someone’s groceries, bus fare, coffee for everyone in a café, a round of beers for strangers, or buying all the mangos from a beach vendor.

The idea isn’t to change someone’s life overnight - but to brighten their day, maybe even their week. In a moment when the community could use a reminder of generosity and connection, Nolan hopes these small acts ripple through Puerto Vallarta as a sign that kindness still shows up when it’s needed most.
