Musa works alongside some of the strongest women you could ever meet - young mothers in rural communities who have been abandoned by family, are raising kids without a father, and are still showing up for others around them. Through MEANS-SL, Musa is using the $500 to host a “Kindness in Action Day” with young mothers and pregnant girls, not just as recipients of support, but as co-creators of it. Together, they’ll prepare small care packages with food and basic maternal supplies, then each participant will pass an act of kindness on to another vulnerable person in their community. Alongside this, Musa will host a safe and joyful gathering for sharing stories, encouraging peer support, and restoring dignity through connection. It’s a lovely idea rooted in a simple belief: that generosity is contagious, and those supported today can become the givers of tomorrow.
