Xavier is a sound engineer creating a free sound library for students and creatives around the world. Having recently completed a Masters in Media Production in Canada, Xavier knows first hand how hard it can be to access quality sound libraries or afford the equipment needed to record your own. So he’s using the $500 to buy a microphone and launch “Drop the Mic” - a free online portal of original sounds that students and creators everywhere can use in their work. His goal is simple: to make sound more accessible, so more people can create, communicate and be heard - loud and clear.
