Inspired by Casa Mestizo, a completely self-run, in-home dog shelter in Mexico City, Colleen and her friends are running a fundraising and awareness event for the shelter and their dogs. For 30 years, Silvia, the owner of this shelter has cared for approximately 10,000 dogs. Their event will be full of fun and joy, attracting donors and prospective dog owners, with the $500 funding a puppy kissing booth and doggy ball pit.
