As the president of a non profit helping special needs youths, Tia has an insight that's really quite special. Many of the kids she supports struggle with communication. Often they are non-verbal or choose silence over anything else. However, a camera can change all of this. Through it's lens they see the world from a different perspective which encourages them to open up. So she is using the $500 to buy and camera as tool to enable learning and communication.
