A sunset-chasing, Hilary Duff–singing, rollerblading storyteller who aspires to the “peace, confidence and self-assurance of a golden retriever”, Evan lives just south of Nashville on the county line between Maury and Williamson counties - two places divided by stark economic contrast. Williamson is one of the wealthiest counties in the country, while Maury has long faced poverty and food insecurity.

With $500, Evan will bake 72 batches of cookies - 864 in total - delivering a dozen each to 31 neighbours in Maury County and 31 in Williamson County. But the cookies are just the entry point. At each doorstep, he’ll offer something more lasting: his time. Lawn mowing, TV mounting, couch moving - whatever small act of service is needed to spark connection and restore a sense of brotherly love between neighbours who might otherwise never meet.

In a culture where many people don’t even know who lives next door, Evan’s idea is simple and radical: neighbours loving on neighbours, one sweet treat - and one open offer of help - at a time.
