Jason is restoring confidence, one wig at a time. A meeting and event planner by trade, Jason is channeling his organisational skills into a project called Strands of Hope - a fundraiser to provide wigs for cancer patients who otherwise couldn’t afford them. Partnering with the Cancer Resource Center at Medical City Dallas in Texas, his goal is simple: ease one small but deeply personal burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

For many patients, the cost of treatment brings overwhelming financial strain. A wig - something that can restore dignity, privacy and a sense of self - often becomes an unaffordable luxury. With $500, Jason can purchase approximately 50 wigs for patients in need.

But he doesn’t want to stop there. By launching a community match program, he’ll invite others to purchase additional wigs - turning 50 into 100. In doing so, Strands of Hope becomes more than a fundraiser. It becomes a visible reminder that no one facing cancer should have to do so without the support, care and compassion of their community.
